William J. McHugh, 88, of Aurora, formerly of New York, NY, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his niece's home. He was born on June 14, 1934 in Aurora, IL.
Bill spent the first 20 years after graduating from Notre Dame University in Catholic education at St. Edward's High School. He then spent the rest of his life in the modeling and acting world in NYC.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Lois McHugh; his nieces and nephews William and Kevin McHugh, Mary Beth York, Joseph McHugh, Jim Buckley, Kathy Platt, Sharon Regnier, John, Tom, and Mike Buckley, and Mary Dennin; and many great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude (Pendergast) and Francis McHugh; his brother Jack McHugh; his sister Mary Ann Buckley; and his nephew Bill Buckley.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
