William Jay (Bill) Davis

William Jay (Bill) Davis, 65, of Aurora, died Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Park Ridge Healthcare Center in Park Ridge, IL. He was born November 24, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois.

Bill's survivors include three sisters, Kathleen Newcomb, Laurel Davis, Barbara (Leo) Ahasic; one brother, Barry (Gwen) Davis and a Sister-in-Law, Nancy Davis. He is also survived by several cousins, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Theresa Davis, brothers Thomas J. Davis, Jeffrey Davis, Randy Davis, Alan Davis, niece Julie Newcomb and nephew John Newcomb.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. (630) 631-5500.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 9 am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, followed by mass at Holy Angels Church, 180 S Russell Ave, Aurora, IL at 10:00 am, followed by interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 278 Ashland Avenue, Aurora, IL.

Bill graduated from Hope Wall School in Aurora and lived most of his adult life at TAC House, 421 N Constitution Dr, Aurora, IL. TAC House is a group home owned and managed by AID (Association for Individual Development). Despite Bill's disability, he was a friendly, outgoing guy who equally loved his biological family and his TAC House family. He loved chocolate milk and pancakes, bowling and dancing, and brought his sunny disposition to every gathering he attended.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to AID (309 New Indian Trail Ct, Aurora, IL 60506) in Bill's memory.
