Walter Sherrell, Jr., 76, of Aurora passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was born June 10, 1945 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Walter and Ester (McCallister) Sherrell.
For several years, Walter worked with his father as a general contractor in Aurora. He loved cars, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Sherrell Keenan; children, Lisa (Dale) Sparks and William (Sherry) Sherrell; father figure to Robert (Donna)Keenan, Maria (Steve) Tubbs, and Brian (Julie) Finks; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Christine; and brother, Larry Sherrell.
The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.
