Our mother Violet Buga, age 97, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fr. John, to whom she was married for 58 years, her parents Leon and Mary Pall, and her brothers Leon Jr. and Vic Pall. Violet is survived by her children Jenny, Paul, Peter, Edward, Nancy, Mark and their families. Visitation and funeral will be at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church, 720 Rural Street, Aurora, IL. Friday, December 27th, visitation 6-8pm; prayer service at 7pm Saturday, December 28th, visitation 9-10am followed by a funeral service. Burial will be at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George Byzantine Catholic Church. While Violet held various outside positions, her most fulfilling role was a loving mother and wife. She took immense satisfaction in supporting her husband and children in their various activities. Our mother was devout in her faith, she prayed daily up until her final hours.
