Tryna E. Zeedyk, respected and beloved educator at Waubonsee Community College for over thirty years, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born in Paterson, New Jersey and was the daughter of William Martin and Mary Elizabeth (Clayton) Zeedyk.
She earned her Master's degree from the University of Iowa before becoming a well-known teacher at the college. In retirement her popularity continued to grow as she taught with the Life-long Learning Institute (LLI). She was a great gardener, neighbor, colleague, and friend.
She is survived by her brothers, William Zeedyk of New Mexico and David Zeedyk of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Per Tryna's wishes there will be no services.
Preceding her in death are her brothers, Craig Clayton Zeedyk and John Daniel Zeedyk.
