Trinidad A. Luzon, 89, of Aurora, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 16, 1935 in Cabadbaran, Agusan, Philippines.

She graduated from Lourdes College in Cagayan de Oro as an English major. Trinidad taught at Lourdes College and led the City High School in Bugo Cagayan de Oro. She followed her husband to the US in 1972 with her two small children and worked for 29 years eventually retiring as a financial analyst for the Northern Trust Bank. Trini was an active volunteer and served the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Dominican Literacy Center and the Holy Angels Food Bank.

She is survived by her daughter Ursula (Ryan) Maley of Aurora, IL; her three grandchildren Jordan, Katherine, and Rachel Maley; and many loving nieces, nephews and long-time friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roque G. Luzon; her son Robert A. Luzon; her parents Salvadora (Cariño) and Juan Amihan; and her brothers and sisters Evangelina Gultiano, Mario Amihan, Esperanza Tuzon and Rafael Amihan.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 8:00am until 10:00am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.

Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Saturday December 14, 2024 at 10:00am to Holy Angels Church at 10:30am where her memorial Mass will be held.
Burial will be private at St. Henry Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
