Tomas Corral, 73, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at AMITA Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. He was born March 7, 1948, in Mexico, the son of Socorro and Carmen (Ramirez) Corral.
Tomas had worked at Watlow in Batavia for forty years prior to his retirement.
He enjoyed spending his leisure time fishing.
Tomas was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Albino; two sons Tomas Jr. and Edgar Corral; and his grandson Tomas III.
Survivors include his wife Dora; his three sons Gustavo (Lorena) Corral of Plano, Ivan Corral of Aurora, and Edwin Corral of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren Makaya, Damien, Anissa, Isaiah, and Nathan.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 9:30am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Rita of Cascia Church at 10:00am. Fr. Oscar Cortes will officiate with interment at Spring Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, face masks are required for those in attendance at the funeral home and the church.
