Thomas Duke Stoecker, 31 passed away August 5, 2021 at his home in Marshfield, WI. He was born July 20, 1990 in Aurora, IL, the son of Leonard E. and Nancy West Stoecker.
Tom attended Holy Angels School and graduated from Marmion Military Academy ('08) where he was the commander of the drill team during his Senior year. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he earned his bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management. Tom was initiated into the Beta Chi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon in the fall of 2008 from the Eta pledge class. He held the position of Prytanis (president) for two straight years in his four years as an active member. He was one of two men to ever hold that position for that long in the 15+ years Tau Kappa Epsilon has been active on the SIUC campus. Tom was so proud of all high accomplishments during his high school and college years.
Tom was always outdoors, whether it was fishing, hiking, throwing a tennis ball for his beloved dog, Abby, or running the local nature trails. He recently competed in a 10K trail run finishing 3rd in the men's division earning him a spot on the Wausau Trail Running team. .
Tom is survived by his loving parents, Leonard and Nancy Stoecker, siblings Leonard (Michelle) Stoecker of Peoria, IL, Marie Matthews of Plano, IL, Elizabeth (Matthew) Fox of Sturgeon Bay, WI; nieces and nephews Ryan, Alaina, Katherine, Peter, Leonard, and Caroline; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Emily West, Leonard Stoecker, Joyce Stoecker and Harold (Olie) Olson; great aunts Patricia and Margaret West; uncles Bob Steigert Dan Busto and Robert Stoecker, and aunt Cathy Stoecker.
Tom was the epitome of a role model to everyone he met, especially his nieces and nephews. He had a quiet yet strong quality that showed what it meant to be a leader. He was a true renaissance man who loved the simple things in life. He was funny, kind, and artistic. Tom was an incredible man of integrity who always did what was right and loved his family above anything else. He will be severely missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Holy Angels Church at 10:30 AM; Fr. Dean Smith will officiate with interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Geneva, IL
