Suzanne Stare Ellis 91, of Aurora Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2026. She was born March 21, 1935, went to Holy Angels Grade School and graduated from Madonna High School in 1953. Sue worked at West Aurora School District 129 in Administration, for 29 years as Administrative Assistant in the WASD Maintenance Department, retiring in 2004. At WASD, she met many wonderful, lifelong friends and was one of West Aurora High School's biggest fans she was a season ticket holder for more than 35 years.

Sue was remarkably social and loved talking to people! Her amiable and genial nature found her greatest joy in the company of others. In the summers you would find Sue and her 6 children at the Yorkville Swimming Club, later at Westwind Swimming Club in Aurora.
