Suzann M. Jennings, 95, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 in St. Charles. She was born September 8, 1926 in Aurora. The loving daughter of John and Mary (Thiesen) Schwickert. She married Francis Sherman on May 8, 1948 who preceded her in death. On December 28, 1968 she married Leon Jennings who also preceded her in death.
Suzann was a loving wife, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a beloved member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she enjoyed being a Eucharistic Minister. She also enjoyed swimming, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her Children, Lynn (Jim) Riedel, Tom (Pat) Jennings, Don Sherman, Diane (Bob) Reis, Diane Jennings, David (Linda) Jennings, Mary (Greg) Kluber, Mark (Pam) Jennings, and Jim (Lynda) Sherman; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Janet Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Sherman and husband, Leon Jennings; her parents, John and Mary Schwickert; children, Jeff and Gary Sherman and Susan Jennings; brother, William (Hazel) Schwickert; daughter in law, Tina Sherman; and brother in law, Cyril Sherman.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORUARY to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment at Marywood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, IL 60506. 630-631-5500.
