Sue Ann McCoy, 89, of Aurora passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Grove of Fox Valley. She was born January 6, 1936 in Elgin, Illinois.

Sue was a 1954 graduate of East Aurora High School. She had several jobs before retiring from Caterpillar in 1996 with twenty eight years of service. In her retirement she drove a bus for over ten years for Laidlaw Bus Company. She was active in the Batavia Ladies of the Moose, the ladies auxiliary for the Batavia VFW and was the past state president for the Fraternal Order of Eagles club 1606.

She is survived her four children, Kevin Brungart, Roger (Michelle) Brungart, Jr., Melody Brungart, Marta Garcia; twelve grandchildren, Kirsten (William) Czenk, Steven (Michelle) Brungart, Jeffery Brungart, Blaine Brungart, Roger Brungart, III, Samantha Brungart, Jeremy Sherman, Robbie Brungart, Carmen Caltzontzin, Stephanie Loza, Tiffany Gaimari, Taylor Gaimari; great grandmother of eight; one brother, Charles Taylor, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William McCoy; her parents, Charles and Edith (Prusell) Taylor; three sisters, Phyllis Lewis, Nancy Tinder, Dorothy Vitto; and a brother, Robert Taylor.

Sue was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Her kind heart and happy smile will be dearly missed by those who loved her,

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Rev. Reginald Sey will officiate with interment at River Hills Memorial Park.
