Steven M. Zweibohmer, 66 of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Amita Mercy Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1957, in Winona, MN. to Ralph and Marilyn Zweibohmer.

Steve had a kind heart and an indomitable spirit. He had a passion for hockey, bowling, and loved watching women's softball, spending much time at the Home Savings ballpark enjoying the games. Steve had an ardent fondness for trains and visited Barnes & Noble often, purchasing several books that he'd spend hours engrossed in reading. He graduated from Hope Wall school where he made many friends. He loved his cats and leaves behind two of his favorites, "Mittens" and "Serena".

Survivors include his two brothers, Bruce Zweibohmer of Aurora and John Zweibohmer of Sugar Grove, several cousins and his dear friend, Janet Borders, and "Cisco".

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL. 60506. (630) 631-5500.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10:00am at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery.
