Stanley Martin Peck, (92) passed away on January 2, 2024 at home of natural causes. He and his wife Barbara (Mosley) Peck shared 71 years of marriage where together they raised 13 children in a loving home in Montgomery, Illinois.
Born in 1931 in Aurora, Illinois, he was the son of Rose (Oberberger) and Arthur Peck. He was a graduate of West Aurora High School, class of 1949. He served in the Marine Corp and served 50 years with the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department as a firefighter, assistant chief and commissioner. His employers included Pyramid, Lumberman's Wholesale and Tool-rite Industries.
Stanley had a strong Catholic faith and was a proud member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Aurora.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Mosley) Peck and his children Lynn Wader, Rev. David Peck, Mary (Marcel) Beretta, Thomas (Patty Bajt) Peck, Andrew (Julie) Peck, Joann (Vincent) Spaeth, Daniel (Jennifer) Peck, Edward (Megan) Peck, Gerald Peck, Johnathan (Kimberly) Peck.
Grandchildren Gregory (Shelly) Walder, Aubrey Stiennen, Ann (Brian Scheinkman) Paprocki, Jeffrey (Claire) Paprocki, Matthew (Anna) Paprocki, Jennifer Peck, Stephanie (Ubaldo Jr.) Benavidez, Aaron (Joanna) Peck, Elisabeth (Andrew Img) Beretta, Emily Beretta, Annamarie (Jake) Beretta, Amelia Beretta, Michael (JoAnna) Spaeth, Olivia Spaeth, Grant (Olivia) Spaeth, Eliza, Campbell and Mark Peck, Madison, Stanley and Jacob Peck. Great-Grandchildren Miles, Ian and Claire Walder, Arlington and Maggie Stiennen, Cecelia Taylor, Vivian and Eve Scheinkman, Dade, Ally, Adam and Lily Paprocki, Fiona and Peter Paprocki, Benjamin and Martha Beretta Img, Anthony Peck-Gimlin, Neo Jordan Boehl, Averiana Finley, Anissa Corral, Alani Benavidez, Rylie Baxter, Natalie Valencia, Ayden Peck and Julian Peck. He is also survived by his sister Marjorie (Dave) Tate and sister-in-law Rosemary (Arthur) Peck.
Stanley is preceded in death by his daughter Karen Paprocki, son-in-law Lawrence Paprocki, daughter Nan Peck-Haas, son Kenneth Peck and great grandson Gabriel Stiennen, brothers Donald (Nancy) Peck, Russell Peck, and Arthur Peck, sisters Joyce (Earl) Montgomery, Charlotte (Dale) Baum and Thelma Peck.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N Lake St., Aurora 630-631-5500

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Church, 925 Sard Avenue, Aurora, Illinois; Ruban Herrera and Fr. David A. Peck will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
