Sharon R. Leide, 87 of Aurora, Illinois, passed away December 2, 2022. She was born September 10, 1935 in Elmwood Park, Illinois.
Sharon was a homemaker, and most recently retired from MAN Roland in Westmont in 1999. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a member of "The Yarnies" ladies group which made blankets and hats for charity. Sharon also enjoyed reading, singing in church choirs, jigsaw puzzles, and playing video games.
She is survived by her children: Wayne (Connie) Leide of Indianapolis, IN, Denise (Robert) Puzio of Carol Stream, Steve (Linda) Leide of Lombard, Matthew Leide of Iowa, Michelle (Michael) Buttitta of Batavia, and Eunice Martin of Carol Stream; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her sister Sandra (Tom) Hering of Norcross, GA; her brother-in-law Harry "Bro" Donovan of New Lenox; her sister-in-law Claire Vilendrer of Ocala, FL; also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Donald and Kurt Vilendrer; and three sisters Yvonne Huxhold, Marlene Faust, and Andrea Donovan.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St, Aurora IL 60506. 630-631-5500.
Interment Thursday at 2:30 PM at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs.
