Scott Alan Darby, 50, formerly of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2020, at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford. Born May 3, 1969 in Aurora, he was the son of George and Lizbeth (Baker) Darby. On March 17, 2000 he married his best friend, Sheila.

Scott was a friend to all and his incredible heart will be missed greatly.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Sheila; daughter, Olivia (Robert Doss); brothers, David (Kris) Darby and Erik (Chrissi) Darby; grandchildren, James, Kaylee, Kiera, Blake, and Ashton; sister-in-law, Shannon, niece, Abby, other nieces and nephews; and Bessie, his truck.

Scott was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Lizbeth and George.

Celebration of life service will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 3:00 PM.
