Sara Martha Hendrickson, 71, of Aurora, loving mother and grandmother passed away on December 24, 2020 at Copley Medical Center. She was born April 7, 1949 in St. Charles, the daughter of Lawrence William and Edna Mabel (Ferguson) Fletcher. On November 17, 1973 she married Jerry Paul Hendrickson. Together they raised two boys.
Sara was a CNA and EMT and proudly volunteered with the South Park Fire Protection District for many years. Also she was a member of Barber Green Sportsman's Club where she loved to fish. She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons, James (Tammy) Moberg of Lee, Illinois and Robert (Peggy) Moberg of Rochelle, Illinois; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and brother, Burton Fletcher of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry and brother, Gary Fletcher.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Service will follow at 12:00 pm for family at the Funeral Home. Salvation Army Captains, Joaquin and Gabriella Rangel will officiate. Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
