San Juanita Gutierrez, 59, of Aurora passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Rush Copley Medical Center. She was born on December 13, 1960.
San Juanita touched many hearts and was loved by so many. She would welcome everyone with open arms and greet them with her warm smile. Her family was important to her and she especially loved her grandkids. She was cheerful, bright, and loved to make people smile and laugh. The happiness of her loved ones and all those she knew were always her main priority in life.
She will always be remembered as a beautiful soul, willing to help others in time of need. She leaves many special memories that we will learn from and forever cherish.
San Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Jose Gutierrez Sr.; three sons, Jose Jr. (Anna)Gutierrez, David (Jessica) Gutierrez, and Ezequiel Gutierrez (Selene Bucio); grandchildren, Angel E. Gutierrez, Arianna R. Gutierrez, and Turbo Gutierrez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezequiel and Angela Rios.
Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 9:00am to Our Lady of Good Council Church,620 South Fifth Street, Aurora, at 9:30am. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm with a liturgical wake service at 4:30pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
