Ruth Marie Latino, 89, of Aurora, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at The Grove of Fox Valley in Aurora. She was born April 13, 1933 in Aurora. The loving daughter of Alfred and Helen (Beschorner) Jones. She married Sam Latino November 26, 1948 who preceded her in death.
Ruth was employed at Dynacolor for many years but would eventually leave to spend time caring for her grandchildren. Spending time with her family was Ruth's greatest joy and passion in life. What made her smile most was the time she shared with her many grandchildren. Ruth was an avid bingo player for many years and an excellent cook and baker. She loved all things Christmas and one of her favorite days was family Christmas cookie baking. Her life will live on through her many recipes. Ruth had a tremendous faith in God and mentioned daily what a great life she had. She was grateful every day and friendly to everyone that crossed her path. Ruth will be deeply missed by her family who was blessed to have her for 89 years. "Rumchata cheers to you, Mom and Grandma!"
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Rodgers; sister, Lois Smith; brother, Robert Jones; six grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Latino; daughter, Carol Aloisio; and brother, Walter Jones.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, 630-631-5500.
