Robert Nicholas Trentt, age 83, was born in Aurora, Illinois, on August 9, 1942, and passed away peacefully in Aurora on September 22, 2025.

Robert dedicated many years of service to Mooseheart working in Parks and Grounds, from which he eventually retired. In his time off, he found joy and solace in his beloved horses, riding and caring for them, and pursuing his favorite pastime of hunting.

He is survived by his sister-in-law,Wanda Trentt; many nieces and nephews; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Bernice (Wolgast) Trentt, and by his siblings: Delores Duncan, Arthur Trentt, Carol Ciko, Janice Evans, Christine DeKing, Ronald Trentt, Richard Trentt, William Trentt, Bonnie Trentt Turley, and Walter Trentt.

A visitation will be held at The Daleiden Mortuary, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Prayers will be conducted at The Daleiden Mortuary the next day at 9:30AM before processing over to the church. The funeral Mass will be at Annunciation Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. The graveside service will immediately follow at Marywood Catholic Cemetery.
