Robert "Bob" E. Patsch, 68, of Eagle River, Wisconsin, and formerly of Oswego, Illinois, passed away on September 21, 2022 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, Wisconsin, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Aurora, Illinois March 4, 1954, the son of Edward H. and Leone M. (Abens) Patsch. Bob was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
Bob learned to play the piano and organ while attending Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School in Aurora, faithfully practicing every day. He served as a church organist for 26 years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, starting in the sixth grade. Bob also enjoyed listening to music in his spare time. He was particularly fond of classical music and theater organ music. Bob retired from AT&T in 2005 after over 30 years of service.
Bob is survived by his brothers, William J. Patsch of Eagle River, Wisconsin, Thomas E. (Christine) Patsch of North Aurora, Illinois, Timothy A. Patsch of Prentice, Wisconsin, 6 nephews and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Leone Patsch, a sister-in-law Linda M. Patsch, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorial funeral services will begin Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church for Mass at 10:00 AM; Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
