Robert "Bob" L. Hartman, 88, of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025. Born on May 1, 1936, Bob was a lifelong resident of Aurora, where he built a life filled with love, dedication, and service to his family and community.

Bob was the beloved husband of Patricia "Pat" Hartman, with whom he has shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised five children: Margaret (Michael), Steven (Jean), John, Michelle, and Daniel. He was a devoted father, grandfather to nine, and great-grandfather to thirteen, always cherishing time spent with his growing family.

Born to Joseph and Elizabeth Hartman, Bob was one of six siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Eugene, William, Charles, Nicholas, and Edward, his children Michelle and John and grandson Maverick Hartman. His sister, Barbara, survives him, carrying on the family's legacy.

Bob worked as a skilled carpenter throughout his career and was an active member of the local Carpenters Union 916. Even in retirement, he remained engaged in his community by working at the Fox Valley Park District. His commitment to hard work and craftsmanship was evident in everything he did.

A dedicated father, Bob was actively involved in Cub Scouts when his children were young, never missing an event. He was also a passionate bowler, and he and Pat enjoyed traveling across the country with their bowling leagues, creating lasting memories with friends along the way.

Bob was a lifetime Moose Member and deeply believed in the work of the organization. He was also a lifelong member of the Turner's Club in Aurora, where he enjoyed time with friends.

Bob's kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 9:30am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Therese Church at 10:00am. Fr. Juan Ayala will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2025 at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St. Aurora, IL. 60506 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Rosary service at 5:00pm.
