Richard F. Milmont, 82, of Naperville passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his home. Richard was born on April 30, 1941 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Anne (Fiedorczyk) Milmont. On February 3, 1973 he married Diane Zelnick in Winfield.
A devoted husband and loving father, Richard was an aviation enthusiast. He was a commercial pilot and instructor, and member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. For many years he worked as a machine tool salesman for L.G. Evans and Company where he retired. He is cherished and will be missed by his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Milmont; three sons, Thomas (Angela Zonderman) Milmont, John (Althea) Milmont, and Brandan (Nicolle) Milmont; half siblings, Gerald Milmont, Bruce Milmont, Christopher Milmont, and Mary Milmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Frank and Anne (Fiedorczyk) Milmont.
Funeral Service will begin on Friday, July 28 at 12:00 PM at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church, 720 Rural Street in Aurora.
Visitation will be Friday, July 28 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the church.
Burial will follow after the service at St. Michael Cemetery in Aurora.
