Renee Guajardo, 61, of Aurora passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born September 1, 1960 in Chicago to Angelo and Shirley (Solis) Velasquez.
Renee will always be remembered as a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend who's kindness knew no bounds. She touched the lives of many and was a second "mom" to countless people.
She will be cherished and honored by her two children, Gina Guajardo and Andrew (Katie) Guajardo; grandson, Andrew Guajardo, Jr.; mother, Shirley Velasquez; brothers, Joseph Velasquez and Michael Velasquez; sister, Valerie Solis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Angelo Velasquez.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 12:30pm from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Holy Angels Church at 1:00pm. Fr. Dean Smith will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
