Renee A. Benjamin, 69, of Yorkville, formerly of Aurora, passed to eternal life on August 30, 2026, at Hillside Rehab & Care Center. She was born October 2, 1956, in Aurora, Illinois.

Renee loved cooking, making jewelry, laughing but her greatest love was for her family.

Renee is survived by her two sisters, Beth (Rick) Plachetka and Lisa (Steve) Adam; her sister-in-law, Keri Benjamin; her nieces and nephews: Pam (Jason Jones) Penney, Kristin (Victor) Perez, Mike (Gabrielle) Plachetka, Tim and (Sabrina) Smithey, April (Marcus Banayat) Benjamin, Adam (Sara) Benjamin, Hilary (Nick Rodriguez) Adam, Andrea Adam, Rachel Adam, Malory (Michael) Garza, and Jason Adam, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel (Jim)and Mildred (Hauser) Benjamin; her brother, Daniel (Dan) Benjamin.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church in Yorkville, IL, with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Simms Street in Aurora, IL. A luncheon will be provided between the funeral Mass and the interment.
