Ralph J. Baish, 90, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Provena McAuley Manor. He was born December 7, 1920 in Aurora, Illinois.
Ralph was a lifelong Aurora area resident. He retired from Aurora Metal in 1982 after many years of employment. Ralph was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of St. Therese Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph (Dianna) Baish and James (Judy) Baish; five grandchildren: Adam Baish, Matt (Courtney) Baish, Melissa (Jose) Garcia, Brett Baish and Joy (Larry) Sanders; three great grandchildren: Veronica Baish, Maxx Garcia and Alexis Baish; his sister, Geraldine "Jeri" (Sievert "Bud") Charleston; his sisters-in-law, Rita Donka and Sunny Donka; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Julia M. (Donka) Baish in 2004; his parents, Benjamin and Lozetta (Youngen) Baish; two brothers, Dale (Beth) Baish and Art (Marilyn) Baish; and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Frank (Marie) Donka, Ann (Paul) Hanson, Mary (Clarence) Johnson, Clarence (Margaret) Balius, Helen (Albert) DesJardine, Louis (Mabel) Donka, Ernie Donka, Bob (Virginia) Donka and Dave Donka.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 9:30 AM to St. Therese Church at 10:00 AM. Fr. Timothy Piasecki will officiate with interment in Mt.
