Patricia Rodriguez, 61, of Aurora passed away at Rush Copley Medical Center on Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born September 30, 1960, in Aurora to Teofilo and Felipa (Camareno) Rodriguez.
Patricia was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Aurora and was a strong woman of faith. She was beautiful, creative, a fantastic cook, but most of all she was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a servant's heart, willing to love and help all. She will be deeply missed and cherished.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bacilio Venecia; children, Sabrina (Ruben Gonazlez) Soto, Cheyenne (Samuel) Sanchez, Latoya (David) Hernandez, Bacilio (Piedad Jorgenson) Venecia, Jr., and Miguel (Marissa) Venecia; nineteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Victor Rodriguez; sisters, Carmen Rodriguez, Olga Rodriguez, Alicia Rodriguez, and Amalia Rodriguez; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Teofilo and Felipa; son, Arturo T. Soto; two brothers; and six sisters.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Aurora. Fr. Alexander Suarez will officiate.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, face masks are required for those in attendance at the funeral home and at the church.
