Patricia Ann Jungels, 85, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born March 2, 1936 in Aurora to Francis and Esther (Gustafson) Simmons. On February 6, 1965 she married her beloved, Donald Peter Jungels at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Aurora. Together they had a beautiful marriage of 53 years.
Patricia was an active, lifetime member of St. Peter's Church where she volunteered for many years at the school. She attended and graduated from Madonna High School. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved watching her children and grandchildren play in sports and other activities. Patricia will be deeply missed and cherished especially during the Christmas season which was her favorite.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Jungels, Donnie (Jenny) Jungels, and Chuy (Cheryl) Lopez; seven grandchildren, Paxon (Ashley) Jungels, Brett (Ashley) Jungels, Jay Jungels, Max Jungels, Samantha Lopez, Sara Lopez, and Luke Lopez; great grandchildren, Laila, Georgia, and Melanie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents; and sister, Marilyn Angel.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:30 am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Peter's Catholic Church at 12:00 pm. Fr. Ruben Herrera will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, face masks are required for those in attendance at the funeral home and at church.
