Patricia Lyn Carroll, age 74, of Aurora passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 at Amita Mercy Medical Center. She was born on January 14, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa.
Patricia was a devoted fifty one year member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and taught second grade religious education for twenty nine years. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Catholic charismatic renewal, and the Fox Valley Women's Bible Study. She was a graduate of The College of Saint Teresa in Winona, Minnesota. She was a devoted teacher in the East Aurora School District for many years both before and after raising her family. Always giving of herself she volunteered time with the La Leche League helping new mother and the Cosmopolitan Club of Aurora helping to fight diabetes. Patricia most of all was Ed's "Rock" and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a gifted baker and chef and seamstress. Patricia devoted her life to loving and serving her family and Jesus.
Survivors include her husband of nearly fifty two years, Edmund Carroll,; five children, Christopher (Sarah) Carroll, Benjamin (Heather) Carroll, Laura Elizabeth Carroll (Sr. Mary Alix), Joanna (Brandon) VanLear, Stephen (Alison) Carroll; fourteen grandchildren, Edmund III, Ruth, Christopher, Jr., Mary, Elizabeth Rose, Rebecca (Edward) Wendt, Emily, Meriam, Benjamin, Joseph, Emily, Braden, Evangeline, Hallie; one great grandchild, Eddie Wendt; a sister, Susan (George) Otterman; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elizabeth (Stolmeier) Goslowsky.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL. 60506. (630) 631-5500.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM; Fr. Timothy Mulcahey and Fr. Jerome Leake will concelebrate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions in Patricia's name may be made to the Cosmopolitan Club of Aurora, 423 Pepperidge Court, Aurora, IL 60506
