Norma A. Ososky, 91, of Yorkville, formerly of Aurora, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center Naperville. She was born March 29, 1932 in Aurora, Illinois.
Norma was a devoted member of St. Therese Church and gave many hours of her time in volunteering in the school, rectory and resale shop. She retired from Mercy Center Hospital after twenty three years of service as an OB technician.
She is survived by her four sons, Michael Ososky of Yorkville, John Ososky of Indian Head, MD, David (Sarah) Ososky of Yorkville and Peter (Tamela) Ososky of Aurora; twelve grandchildren: Leeann Smith, Jennifer (Lance) Shupe, Matthew (Cheryl) Ososky, Christopher Ososky, Kelly (Chad Karwoski) Ososky, Stefan Ososky, Erin Ososky, Josiah Ososky, Lyle MacAlister, William MacAlister, Jack Ososky, Max Ososky; twelve great-grandchildren: Izaak, Sebastian, Jonas, Oliver, Alice, Marcus, Brianna, Carter, Celia, Lance, Jr., Logan and Elizabeth; two great great grandchildren, Marcus, Jr. and Ivy; three brothers, Fred (Carol) Hewitt, Dennis (Judy) Hewitt, Terence Hewitt; numerous nieces and nephews; her dear friend, Clementine Baily.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin G. Ososky; two sons, Stephen Ososky, Paul Ososky; her parents, Fred and Alice (Robinson) Hewitt; two sisters, Joan Frauenhoff, Sandra Hewitt; a brother, Kenneth Hewitt.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 9:00 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Therese Church at 9:30 AM; Fr. Darwin Flores will officiate with interment at St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506.
