Nancy A. Lukas, 72, of Aurora passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home. She was born November 4, 1948 in Aurora, IL.
Nancy was employed by United Parcel Service for many years. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, whether it be, in the Gulf of Mexico or Lake Michigan. Although, she always would say that Mooseheart Lake was her favorite place to fish. She enjoyed her gambling trips to the Gulf Coast and cheering on the Bears and the White Sox. Nancy was a country music fan who loved listening to Travis Tritt and Trace Adkins, who she had the pleasure of meeting when she was in Missippi.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Lukas of Aurora, IL; her sister Linda Meyers of Aurora, IL; two nieces Stacy (Chris) O'Neal of Paw Paw, IL and Rebecca (Dan) Fisher of St. Albans, W.V.; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Veronica (Okapal) and Thomas Charno and her niece Christy Meyers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10:00am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Michael Lavan will officiate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
