Michele Viola, 62, of Aurora, died suddenly Monday, October 18, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI. She was born September 30, 1959, in Aurora, the daughter of Nicholas and Normalee (Jennijahn) Viola.
Michele had worked for 25 years in the Insurance industry for Vista Administrators and Aftermath Claims prior to her retirement in 2016.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Aurora.
Michele enjoyed gambling with her friends and family, and she was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. She rarely missed a game and was fortunate enough to see the Cubs win the World Series in 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunt Evelyn Makris and her cousins Kathleen Jenkins and Tracey Griffin.
Survivors include her sister Marilee Viola of Naperville; her uncle Donald Viola of Redmond, OR; her cousins Laura Jenkins of Aurora, Kelly Pigney of Aurora, Gregory Viola of Plano, Brian Viola of Arizona , Trevor, James, and Alec Pigney all of Aurora.
Funeral Mass will be Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:30AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church at 10:00am. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506. (630) 631-5500. Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
