Megan Dennin Miklosik, 37, originally of Aurora, Illinois, and recently of Milwaukee, WI, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on May 18, 2026. She was a bright, beautiful, witty, and wonderful woman who was loved by so many and appreciated for her kindness, sense of humor, strong sense of care and concern for people, animals, and the environment, and her courage to try new things while living a full life.

Megan was a beloved daughter to Steve and Michele, and a cherished sister to Renee and Steve. Fiercely independent and utterly authentic, Megan enjoyed live music, coffee, candy, and kettle chips, sports, SVU marathons, and being with her close circle of friends and family. She was an avid lover of all things outdoors and spent numerous hours hiking, camping, and fishing with her partner, Justin.

A graduate of North Central College, Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2017. Megan was an accomplished scientist, leading lab operations for Fox Metro Wastewater Reclamation District.

Megan is survived by her father: Steve Miklosik; her siblings: Renee Miklosik and Steve Miklosik, and her partner, Justin Agner. She was preceded in death by her mother: Michele Miklosik.

Plans for a Celebration of Life are underway and will be shared in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Megan's honor to Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry or Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry.
