Maureen Davey, 97, of Aurora passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was born March 9, 1924 in Shullsburg, WI to William and Mary Blanche (Baldwin) Treloar.
Maureen was a member of St. Peter Church in Aurora. She was loved and will always be remembered for her strong faith and being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend .
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Wenberg, Larry Burns, and Jeannette (Tim) Olah; loving daughter-in-law, Terri Burns; grandchildren, Colleen (Dave) Pfeiffer, Tracy Wenberg, Michael Wenberg, Brent Burns, Nicole Alsip, Brian (Jen Carlino) Burns, Jamie (Bill) Kill, Stephanie (Matt) Kloos, Jacob Olah, Anthony Olah, David Acuff, and Scott Acuff; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty two years, Richard Davey; son, Jim and infant son, Richard Burns.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 9:30am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Peter Church at 10:00am. Fr. Ruben Herrera will officiate with entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
