Beloved wife and sister, Mary Bohler Veras of Aurora left this world peacefully on January 10th, 2023. She was kind and generous, sharp-witted and fun-loving, and cherished by all who knew her. An ardent devotee of music, Mary performed in and directed several productions of the Holy Cross Players in Batavia. She loved cooking, travel, corny jokes, virtual gaming, and all things fantasy. She held a degree in Geology and was a fierce, capable, and dedicated professional. With her indomitable, curious, and kinetic spirit, Mary was in every way a sparkling gift to this world! We will treasure and miss her always.

Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ed Veras, and sisters Liz Thompson, Bonne Bohler, and Anne Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Ed Bohler, sister Nancy McCall, and brother Bob Bohler. Sadly, Mary's brother Brian Bohler passed away three days after Mary on January 13, 2023.

A memorial will be held at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY on February 3, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
