Mary A Herrera, 76, of Aurora, IL, passed away in her home on March 6, 2024. She passed away peacefully with family surrounding her. Mary was born on May 27, 1947 and shared a birthday with her beloved niece.

Mary was a dedicated daughter who took care of her mother while she was in hospice. Mary did not have any children, but she helped raise her nieces Krystle, Esmeralda, and Madaline as if they were her own. She will be missed deeply and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Mary was a joyful person who had an amazing sense of humor. She loved to joke around and put a smile on everyone's faces. She was selfless, kind, and had so much love to share with everyone. Her laughter was contagious and will echo in our hearts and minds forever. We miss you Mary and love you very much. We thank you for all the love and memories you filled our lives with throughout the years.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm with The Rosary Service at 6:30pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL. 60506.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 11, 2024 from 9:30am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Peter Church for the funeral mass at 10:00am. Fr. Ruben Herrera will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
