Mary Agnes Gaworski, 81 of Sandwich, Illinois, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. She was formally a life long resident of Aurora prior to recently moving to Sandwich. Mary was born August 19th, 1943 in Aurora, Illinois. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Caroline Gaworski. She had a sister Ruthann Gaworski and brother, Louis Gaworski.
Mary left behind three sons and one daughter; Tom (Kitty) Weis, Michael (Christine) Weis, John (Gina) Weis, and Aimee (Ben) Kraus. She had twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Tom R. Weis, Kristoff (Terra) Weis; Kariana Rios (Carl), Joseph Weis, Sophia Weis, Anna Weis; TJ Weis, Johnny Weis, Noah Weis; Joseph Kraus, Abbigail Kraus, Joylyn Kraus; Great Grandchildren, George and Clara Rios.
Mary was known for her deep faith and love for Jesus. She loved reading her bible and sending others cards and notes with encouraging words and verses. She spent her last night reflecting on God's goodness, by enjoying a wonderful sunset. She died peacefully in her sleep later that night.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lkae Street, Aurora, Illinois.
