Mary Ann DeKing, 93, of Aurora, IL passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Presence McAuley Manor. She was born December 2, 1924 in Aurora, IL.
Beloved GG, mother, grandmother, and best mother-in-law will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her six children Deborah (Tom) Wall, Brad (Bernie) DeKing, Chet (Carrie) DeKing, Brett (Mary Ann) DeKing, Chad (Mary) DeKing, and LeRoy (Lisa) DeKing; 12 grandchildren Brandon, Heather, Brianne, Danny, Brandt, Cassandra, Dane, Cory, Kelly, Stephanie, Nick, and Austin; and 10 great grandchildren plus one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy DeKing; her grandson Christopher Wall; her parents Mary and Joseph Klemencic; and her brother Joseph Klemencic, Jr.
A concelebrated funeral Mass will be offered by Fr. Bob Jones and Fr. Jerome Leake on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Sugar Grove, IL. Mary will lie in state at St. Katharine Drexel Church Wednesday morning from 9:00am until the funeral hour at 10:00am. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 3:00pm until 7:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 4:30pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500.
