Martha (Oma) Limbrunner, 93, of Aurora passed away at Sunnymere Retirement Home in Aurora on Friday, December 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born on April 9, 1929 in Hoehenberg, Germany. In 1959, she married her beloved husband George at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Aurora.
A devoted mother, grandmother (Oma), and great grandmother, Martha was a long time member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. She enjoyed her many friends in the Fox Valley Hiking Club as well as the Friendly Center at the Fox Valley Park District. She will be honored and cherished by all those who knew her as Mom and Oma. She was considered a treasured friend by many and will be deeply missed.
Martha is survived by her children, Thomas (Tracy) Limbrunner and Anita (Avis) Kelley; grandchildren, Matthew Limbrunner, Steven (Jill Potilechio) Limbrunner, and Anthony (Julia) Kelley; and great grandchildren Ashton and Jordyn Kelley.
Preceding her in death are her beloved husband, George Limbrunner and her mother, Magdalena Ammer.
Funeral Mass will begin Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 9:30 AM from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 AM. Fr. Timothy Mulcahey, will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500.
