Mark Phillips, 58 years old, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio and Aurora, Illinois passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. Mark's appetite for life was only exceeded by his love of people.
Mark was an athletic and scholastic stand out at Gallia Academy high school graduating in 1981. Mark attended multiple colleges, graduating from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a BA in business.
Mark was a senior accountant and valued team member at Hyzon motors in Bolingbrook Illinois.
Mark had strong roots in the Gallipolis community and is survived by his brother Jeff (Mandy) Phillips, and his sister Samantha Phillips.
Mark is also survived by his nephew Thomas (TJ) Phillips (Enedina, Isabella, and Arrianna).
Extended family includes Simpson's, Champers and Woodyard's.
Mark will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St. Aurora IL 60506. 630-631-5500. A time for remembrance will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the mortuary.
