Mark Ederati, 65, of North Aurora, Illinois passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025at his home. He was born June 29, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois.

Mark was a lifelong resident of North Aurora. He received his GED and was a welder fabricator by trade. Mark had a troubled and difficult life as a result of being afflicted with the disease of mental illness. His brother Brian became his devoted caregiver after the passing of their mother.

He is survived by his brother, Brian Ederati; two sisters, Cindy Ray, Alex (Mark) Holden; two nephews, Keith A. (Sarah) Ray, Kevin A (Karleen Ellsby) Ray; several Ederati cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricard and Mary (Plese) Ederati.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY Fr. Vincent Bataille; O.S.B. will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. 630-631-5500.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mark's name may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
