Marjorie Ellen Steele, 88, of Aurora, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2023 with her loving son Steve and daughter Beverly by her side. She was born March 24, 1934 in Lovington, Illinois.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Beverly Padilla and loving son, Steven Steele who will miss her tremendously; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her son, Frank Steele and her daughter, Nancy Steele.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Marvin H. Steele; her daughter, Doris Anderson; her granddaughter, Denise Anderson; her son-in-law, Chuck Padilla; her parents, Lester and Gertrude (Wallace) Hall; five brother and five sisters.
Heartfelt thanks to her grandchildren Tim and Jenny for the loving care they helped provide to her, and to her niece Dorothy for her kind visits and help, Marjorie was always so happy to see her every time. The family also would like to thank the nurses and staff of Devine Hospice for the compassionate and kind care she received throughout her journey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY Gabriel Padilla will officiate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
