Marilyn J. "Gram" Turner Oros, 83, of Montgomery, IL passed away at her home on Friday, December 31, 2021. She was born March 8, 1938 in Chicago, IL.
Marilyn was a member of the Boulder Hill/Oswego Antique Study Group for over 50 years. She held garage sales for years before garage sales were en vougue. Her nickname was "The Garage Sale Goddess"! Her passion was getting together with her high school friends who were graduates of East Aurora Class of 1956, once a month and spending time with her childhood friend Judy Dittman. Marilyn loved holidays with her family all around her. She will be deeply missed and will live on in all of our hearts.
She is survived by her sister Cheryl Siri of Friendship, WI; her children Bobbi (Matt) Lumpkin, Tim (Lisa) Oros, Stacy Oros (Scott); her grandchildren Jeremy Johnson, Keri (Brian) Stultz, Heather Johnson (Mike), Chad and Cody Lumpkin, Tony (Kellie) Gates, Ashley Oros, Alex Oros, Aarika Moreno, Ashbilyn Crawhorn, Joseph Oros, Jr., Brayden, Kohen and Sawyer Gates, Jameson Stultz, and Cooper Stultz.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Oros; her daughter Mari Jean Long; and her grandsons Joseph Oros, Sr. and Bradley Gates.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 7:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Frederick Peterson, OSB will officiate. Private burial will be at a later date.
