Maria Reyna Jiminez, 54, of Aurora, died Friday May 21, 2021, at AMITA Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. She was born in Mexico, January 6, 1967, the daughter of Casiano and Eulalia (Alvarado) Jiminez.
She enjoyed cooking, especially Sopita, and was a faithful walker.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Estefana Jiminez; and her brother Rufo Jiminez.
Survivors include her 3 children Rutilo (Jessica Saucedo) Aguirre, Jubal (Brenda) Aguirre, and Esmerelda Aguirre all of Aurora; 5 grandchildren Jazlynn, Isaac, Violet, Angelo, and Elijah; 4 sisters Jobita (Miguel) Jiminez of Illinois, Sylvina Jiminez of California, Crisanta Torres of California, and Maria Jiminez of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews including Veronica Montenegro of Aurora.
Visitation will be (Date) from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. 630-631-5500.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
Burial will be at Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora.
