Obituary

Marcos Amador Villanueva, age 32, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on
July 20, 2025, in the very city where he was born on September 11, 1992.

Marcos was preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Villanueva, and his mother, Delia
Armida Gomez. Left to carry his memory are his loving siblings: Abel R. Villanueva (wife
Silvia Villanueva), sister Alma Peinado (husband Arturo Peinado), brother Santiago
Villanueva (wife Jeanette Villanueva), sister Julia Villanueva, and brother Diego
Villanueva (wife Monica Villanueva). He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and
nephews: Landin, Emma, Nayeli, Rudy, Chagito, Alayna, Tonatiuh, and Paloma—and
his loyal dog and best friend, Daisy Villanueva.

Marcos graduated from West Aurora High School in 2011 and worked as a self-employed truck driver. He loved the freedom of the open road, but even more, he loved having Daisy riding beside him on his journeys, keeping him company wherever he went.

To know Marcos was to know warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. He had a rare gift—the ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. He was the kind of person who could light up a room without even trying. His hugs were genuine, and his jokes were endless. His family meant everything to him. Every visit, every phone call, every simple moment spent together was something he treasured. He lived life as a free spirit, embracing the little things that brought him peace, like cooking, exploring nature with Daisy, or just sharing laughs.

His passing came too suddenly, leaving no chance for final words or goodbyes. But if love alone could have kept him here, he would have lived forever. And though he's gone, everyone who loved him knows this: Marcos loved with his whole heart, and he knew—without question—that he was loved just as deeply in return.

Marcos leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and love that will never fade. His absence leaves a hole in every heart that knew him, but his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
