Manuel Vargas, 64, of Aurora, died Thursday April 14, 2022 at AMITA Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.
He was born January 24, 1958, in Madera, Chih, Mexico, the son of Amado and Mariana (Romero) Vargas.
Manuel was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved tejano and country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Cristina; and two brothers Amado and Angel.
Survivors include his wife Angela; his daughter Veronica (Chris) Vargas of Aurora; four grandchildren Jazlyn, Aliyah, D'Lila and Malaina; his brother Emilio (Flor) Vargas; 5 sisters Martha (Ignacio) Chacon, Concepcion (Guillermo) Ibarra, Gregoria (Francisco) Dozal, Hilda (Armando) Catano and Maribel (Hector) Ledezma; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 630-631-5500.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois. Chaplain Ernesto Reyes will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Aurora.
