We regret to announce the passing of our father Manuel Montanez Jr.
He was the son of Lydia Montanez and was preceded by Manuel Montanez, Sr.
Former husband of Maria C. Schmidt and Deborah Smith.
Father of Ivette Jung, Susan K Montanez, Jennifer Burby, Joseph Forehand, Chandra Young, and Kimberly Ann Montanez.
Grandfather to Anamarri, Lisette, David Anthony, Alfredo, Trent, Braden, Chloe, Luke, Damien,
Logan, Dean, Lola, Erik, and Vivian.
Brother of Elias, Ruben, Patricia, Lydia, Sergio, Hilda, Irene, Enrique, and Alfred.
Dad passed away after a valiant struggle with diabetes. Our father was the kind of man who
always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
He was a kind and gentle man who loved spending time with his family and friends.
He had a passion for music, dancing, and fishing.
There aren't enough words to describe how much our father meant to so many.
We love you Daddy.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, 630-631-5500.

Graveside service will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, 1908 E. Third Street, Sterling, Illinois at 2:00 PM.
