Lynne A. Childress, 77, of Aurora passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home. She was born July 22, 1944 in Aurora, IL.
Lynne graduated from Madonna High School in 1962. She was then employed at Aurora National Bank until she became employed by Dreyer Medical Clinic for 28 years until her retirement in 2014. She is a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Sugar Grove, IL. Lynne enjoyed gardening and shopping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Julie Deuchler of Sugar Grove, IL; her two grandsons Brandon and Allan John "A.J." Deuchler both of Sugar Grove, IL; her sister Nancy (Kenneth L.) Henning; her nephew Todd (Cheryl) Henning; her great niece and nephew Madison and Trenton Henning; many cousins in PA, OH, and TN; and her large Childress family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Childress and her parents Helen (Cain) and John Esser.
A private concelebrated memorial Mass was held at St. Katharine Drexel Church on Saturday, August 21, 2021 by Fr. Bob Jones and Fr. Charles Reichenbacher, OSB.
