Lorraine K. O'Malley, 73, of Aurora, formerly of Oswego, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at her home. She was born October 15, 1949 in Aurora, IL.
Lorraine was a lifetime Hall of Fame member and treasurer for the East Aurora Sports Boosters. She was also a member and treasurer of the Mascoutin Society for many years. Lorraine was very active in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America. She enjoyed her Tuesday A.M. Ladies bowling league, embroidering, quilting, and her many walks for Breast Cancer Awareness.
She is survived by two sons Todd O'Malley and Thomas (Melissa) O'Malley; her five granddaughters Jenna (Aaron) Hogg, Riley O'Malley, and Bryanna, Camryn, and Evelyn O'Malley; her grandson Mark Lara; two great grandchildren Ava and Aaron Hogg; two sisters Vicki (Denny) Bower and Paula (Rick) Moss; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas O'Malley, Jr. and her parents Kathleen and Donald Baliman.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May12, 2023 at 12:30pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Pastor Brent Bozeman will officiate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
