Lois Anne Smith

Lois Anne Smith, 85 of Oswego, died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. She was born on October 28, 1939 in Aurora, IL. Lois loved to laugh, spend time with her family and friends, and lived life to its fullest. She was always the life of the party.

Lois was employed as a business administrator with Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL for many years.

Her survivors include her son Steven (Dawn) Smith; daughter Susan (Bill) Trudo; Grandchildren Chad (Kendra) Trudo, Hailey Trudo, Kyle (engaged to Corey Heald) Smith; her Great Grandchildren who affectionately call her Mimi, Cooper, Lincoln & Palmer Trudo; her brother Robert (Nancy) Jones; sister-in-law Jean Jones; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband John W. Smith, her parents, Alfred & Helen (Nee Beschorner) Jones, her brother, Walter Jones, and her sister, Ruth Latino.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506. 630-631-5500.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 10:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Deacon Duane Wozek of St. Anne's Catholic Church will officiate with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
