Linda Mae Watgen, age 68, of North Aurora, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home. She was born May 29, 1952, in Aurora, the daughter of Frank and Maxine (Bryant) Beller.
Linda married Thomas R. Watgen July 12, 1975 at St. Nicholas Church in Aurora.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, was an avid Cubs fan, reading talking books for the blind, and was able to read Braille. Linda overcame all health issues in her life with grace and dignity and didn't allow them to slow her down!
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Thomas; her son James (Cheryl) Watgen of Aurora; her daughter Sarah Ferguson of Aurora; 3 grandchildren Christine, Andrew, and Hailey Watgen; her brother Ross (Sher) Beller of Colorado; and her sister Laura (Michael) Beller of Colorado.
Memorial service will be held on March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, IL, (630) 631-5500, with the Rev. Roy Frye, officiating. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Private burial of cremains to follow at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic protocols, non-family visitors are asked to pay their respects to the family for only a few minutes and exit the funeral home in a timely fashion. Social distancing and face masks are required for those in attendance.
